The founding principles of the ADMR

One of the cornerstones of the movement is the famous ADMR golden triangle: our volunteers, the people we care for, our employees.

The ADMR’s modus operandi is based on:
- a decentralised outreach programme
- a joint programme carried out by teams of volunteers.

Key figures
Present throughout France, ADMR is now the country’s leading outreach network:
- 1 National Union
- 97 federations
- 3,200 local associations
- 265,000 members with 111,000 active volunteers
- 82,000 employees.

Fields of action

• Daily life: home help, remote alarm, welfare support service, cleaning, ironing, home delivered meals, support for vulnerable people, day care, night care
• Socio-educational: childminding at home, help for vulnerable families, day care centres
• Health: home care service for the elderly and the disabled

→ At department level: ADMR in Upper Corsica

Today, there are 30 associations with operations in the department of Upper Corsica with 800 employees, making them the biggest employers in the department.
The ADMR federation of Upper Corsica, founded in 1967, provides administrative support for local associations.

ROLE OF THE ADMR WITHIN THE PROPOSED PROJECT

Every day, members of the ADMR (employees and volunteers) meet carers who look after families.

The role of the ADMR will be to ensure that all actions taken are relevant to the needs of employers in the sector of personal services. The ADMR will be in charge of developing a skills requirement matrix for healthcare services.
